But since my brother is younger, I also like to gift him some stuff on every occasion. TheDottedi.in is such a website where you can find all the quirky gifts sorted according to gift type, gender & occasions. I was very happy to receive a few samples from the website. The website is very easy to navigate since it has been divided into the following sections- GOURMET | PRODUCTS | PERSONALIZED | OCCASIONS | SURPRISES. You can find all the delicious cakes, cupcakes & cookies under the Gourmet section. I was awestruck when I saw the Gourmet page. The designs were awesome & looked really tasty. I wish they were available in Delhi too. The delivery is only within Bengaluru city. Products include all the quirky stuff and not the regular boring things. So for the first time, I saw some very cute looking tin buckets which could hold a lot of stuff and look decorative as well. I received one such bucket actually. You can get shot glasses, cards, and games with nice tag lines imprinted on them. There are also handbag holders if you are looking for one. My wandering eyes glued on funky gift boxes, cake & cupcake holders. There are small and very stylish suitcase pairs. I have to get myself one. I really liked the Occasions section where you can go select gifts and products based on occasions like Rakhi, Birthday, Return Gifts, Bachelorette &  Baby Shower. Under Rakhi section you can choose gifts for brother and sister. There are numerous gift hampers for the duo including tin buckets, cake hamper, chocolates, spa hamper, and much more. You can also personalize the products and gifts according to your choice. You can personalize a notebook, diary, chocolate wrappers, wine bottles, travel kits, magazines, newspapers, slippers, etc. If you like to give surprises, you will love the Surprise section of the website. You can plan surprise for a birthday, wedding as well as some customized events such as Drama Queen Surprises, which I found to be fun-filled and unique. I would suggest you guys check out this website thedottedi.in and have a look at the unique products and services that the online store offers. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside I found in the products is the products are a bit pricey. I wish the prices were more affordable since otherwise, the store is really cool. Have you shopped from the brand? I like receiving as well as giving gifts. Specially when it’s for someone close to heart, I try to go an extra mile to make his /her day special. We all do that, don’t we? Girls are really expert in that way. My hubby’s birthday falls on the 30th of December. Just about few days back we celebrated his 32nd birthday. My SIL suggested to have a full day celebration by planning some activities via some party planner, like she did for her husband’s birthday. I so wanted this, but, with a toddler in your arms, it’s not really good idea to plan whole day outdoor. So I postponed this idea till next year. It’s just so easy to please a girl on her birthday. There are so many options when it comes to choose gifts for her. But gifts for men… ahh.. the options are really narrow. I have already gifted him watch, clothes, laptop bag, colognes, phone, kinky stuff etc on his past birthdays. I was kind of running out of my options. So I picked up some usual items and made him a gift hamper. As the clock joined hands on the night of 30th December, Aarav & I woke him with the usual Happy Birthday song (Aarav loves singing Happy Birthday). Also got him fresh fruit cake ( am so bored of brown cakes now) to mark the journey of another year. This is what I got for him. A powder blue coloured formal shirt, a sweatshirt, Deco Pride Milk Mug, Wild Stone Code Deodorant Gold, a tie, a set of cuff links and tie pin, Park Avenue After Shave, A mobile+Pen holder for his office.   Since his only light blue shirt was kind of worn out now, and he does not wear it anymore. I thought it would be a good idea to gift him another blue but in some light tone. And yeah, like always, I was do damn right. It suited his complexion very well. The sweat shirt was also a good upgrade to his wardrobe which mostly contained black  and grey sweat shirts. You can never go wrong with a pair of cuff links and tie pin when it comes to choosing gifts for a guy. Also a tie won’t hurt either. I got this set of cuff links and tie pin from Amazon in the same gift box as shown in the picture above. I got this tie to match the formal shirt. I got this tie for him from a local store. I feel deodorants/fragrances make great gifts be it for a man or for a woman. I wanted him to try this new range of deodorants from Wild Stone named as CODE. I got the Gold version from this range. I also got him a wooden pen cum mobile stand for his office desk. Actually he indirectly suggested this gift weeks back. He hinted that he is looking for a pen stand. I found this fabulous piece on Amazon. This Milk Mug is from Deco Pride showing Indian Classical Dance Moves, which I found intriguing. I was not sure if he was going to like this mug or not, but he seemed okay with this too. He just turned 32 but still chuckles like a 3 year old. I just wish he stays like this forever, this is what cheers my mood even on a bad day. XOXO.
