Smytten Box : Unboxing & Review

We have a new subscription box in the town. This is another premium brand sampling service for you. This is such a new new trend in India. West is already taken by these beauty boxes. Smytten has a new way to operate. It does not send monthly box filled with random product samples. Check out Smytten here.

First you need to have an Invite from the website/app. How do you get an invite? You can either access Symtten via your laptop, or download their mobile app from google Play Store. Once you put in your email id & phone number into their system (Register yourself), you are asked to wait for an invite form Smytten. This can take from several hours to days. I got my invite the very next day I registered via their mobile app. I got an invitation code via email from Smytten.

Once I was in, I found about their system. So, there is a section under which you can find out the product samples that you can try. No, you can’t try every product you want. There are the new launches that you might not have even heard about. The free product samples are somewhere in between 2ml-10ml in quanity. You can choose only 3 products from the trial section. You will have to pay for the shipping too.

In addition to these free trail samples, you can also do some regular shopping on the website. There are gifts for her/him. There are numerous brands from all over the world. The brands offer skin care, hair care, musk as well as teas, which is a unique feature of Smytten.

Coming back to your free trials. Once you place your order for the free trials (paying only for the shipping), they send you proper emails for dispatch & delivery, which is quite expected in this demanding era of technology. You also get sms and notifications over your mobile apps (if you have installed one).

Once deliver (mine got delivered by the third day), you are supposed to test them, you can take as much time as you want. And then review those sample products on Smytten. That’s how you get eligible to try more free samples from Smytten.

Hope you understood the cycle now. It’s easy-

Order Upto 3 Products Sample, Test, Review On Smytten, Repeat.

Coming to the shopping experience on Smytten, I tried choosing something , but first the products are costly, secondaly, I am new to most of the products. I will be testing out the products via Smytten’s Sampling Service, & then only order from the new brands.

Let’s see what I chose from Smytten’s free samples:

Since I could choose only 3 products, I chose Tvakh Conditioner, Ma Earth Botanicals Rose Scrub, & L’Occitane Divine Youth Oil.

The first two products are decenly sized samples, but I am really disappointed by the size of the third product it is very tiny sachet, I wonder if I will be to get even 2 uses out of it. Can you really test a so called “Youth Oil”, in just 2 uses? This is a let down. They should prodice at least 10 ml for a skin care product.

I shall be writing about how these products fared on me. I liked the elegant packaging of the box. You guys, let me know if you have shopped/tried free products from Smytten, What is your opinion? Do you like such subscription boxes?

Love.
