Ethnic attire can make anyone look more beautiful & desirable. Remember in most of the bollywood movies, the bro-zoned heroine wins the heart of the hero by adorning a saree or a patiyala. Happened in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai…. happened in Main hoon Naa… remember? So don’t ever under estimate the power of ethnic clothes. They have magic.
After a long time, I am posting on High On Gloss. I was busy with studies & later with exams. Now I am a free soul. You ask a girl what she likes to do in her free time, her answer will be “dressing up”. Today’s post is all about my love for ethnic clothes, traditional neckpiece & jhumkas and the highlights I just got on my hair.
My look started with a sheer net long kurta paired up with blue pants & black tube. A multicolored dupatta was all what I needed to add some color to otherwise the dull look.
Wear anything but never forget to match your accessories to the attire. Here to go with this ethnic wear, I chose to wear a pair of traditional jhumkas & tribal neck piece. Now my look was complete. But would you like to jazz it up?
I recently got light brown highlights on my hair. My hair are naturally brown so I got light brown highlights so that they are less noticeable to my parents hehe. But I am loving my secret highlights.
To give my ethnic wear a twist, I just draped my multicolored duppta like a saree pallu. It really flared up the look. Get ready the ramp, here I come.
Also did I tell you, I am head to toe in love with round bindi. It balances my long cut face. It adds a mystery to my face. It adds extra oomph to my look.
So this is how I spice up my look and my boring days. Tell me what you liked the most. Do you want to see more of these posts?
Moni … XOXO
