Ingredients
ingredients
  1. Dried flakes of Green Tea or Green Tea bags: Green Tea is a magic ingredient for skin. It contains tannin, polyphenols and a number of antioxidants that helps to prevent premature ageing, pimples, illuminate the skin, bring glow to the skin, fight pigmentation and under eye puffiness.
  2. Rose Water: Rose water is another good ingredient for all types of skin. It calms the tired skin and reduces various skin irritations generated from microbial actions (pimples etc.) or dryness (rosacea, dermatitis). Its antioxidant rich composition quickens skin renewal process and balances the pH level of the skin.

How To Make The Face Mist?

The following guidelines will help you to make 100ml of Rose-Green Tea Facial Mist.

  1. Soak 1 teaspoon Dried Green Tea leaves in 80ml plain water for 3-4 hours. You may soak 1 Green Tea bag in the same amount of water for the same amount of time.
  2. If you are using the first method (dried Green Tea leaves) just strain out the leaves when the wait time is over. However, if you are using tea bags you just have to remove it from the water. I find the second method less time consuming so I follow it.
  3. Next add 20ml rose water to this Green Tea Water to finish your preparation. Store the facial mist in a clean spray bottle for quick and convenient application.
  4. If you want to enhance the fragrance of your facial mist you may use 1-2 drops of your essential oil but that is totally optional.
