My Experience With Laser Skin Treatment Ft. Kyra Skin Lounge

Laser Skin Resurfacing is a very common technique to achieve clear & beautiful skin. The technique rejuvenates skin , treats discoloration due to hyper pigmentation & melasma, while improving skin texture & elasticity. This technique boosts collagen production of skin which eventually regenerates new and healthy skin. The procedure for such treatments might be bit costly but they definitely give out permanent results. Laser treatments are effective in treating scars, wrinkles & unwanted hair.

Laser Skin Resurfacing or Photo Rejuvenation, is a technique that involves Laser or high pulsed light to treat the affected areas. The procedure is mostly pain free. Dr. Anita Arya, cosmetologist & the founder of Kyra, has been a superb host to all the bloggers. She has a dynamic & cheerful personality to charm you in the very first meeting. She was very humble to listen to all my skin concerns. After studying my skin closely she suggested that I should get a Laser treatment done for my acne scars & pits that I have on my cheeks.

Kyra Laser & Skin Clinic, is a beauty lounge. It has great ambiance and very very pleasant staff. The experienced & well trained personnel at the clinic greet you with a huge smile. Even though this is a specialty clinic you can also avail day to day services such as waxing, eyebrows, hair spas, pedicure, manicure and every thing else you might need. Even though the staff at the clinic is highly experienced & trained, Dr. Anita believes in doing the laser treatments & other specialty treatments for hair removal by herself to ensure you get the best experience.

Before I share my personal experience with you, let me brief you some technicalities of of the treatment that I had. At Kyra the treatment is called Sublative Rejuvenation With E-Matrix Laser Skin Surfacing. This involves using a chunky machine Candela Gentle Yag. In Delhi only two cosmetologists has got this machine, Dr. Anita Arya is one of them. Here are some most effective skin treatments that Kyra Skin Clinic offers:

Sublative Rejuvenation With Laser Skin Resurfacing

This is a unique procedure which uses radio frequency to deliver an effective but controlled ablative  and non ablative fractional treatment for wrinkles, scars, large pores & better texture for skin. I opted for Scar Removal Laser Treatment at Kyra because I have acne prone & oily skin. I have open pores and and pits on my skin. Laser Skin Resurfacing is a nice solution to all of my problems. My treatment started with a clean up using Dermalogica pre cleanser & cleanser. Later I was given a light handed facial massage using Aloe Vera Gel by a natural brand. Now my skin was prepared to receive high frequency laser treatment. Also I would like to mention the clinic use only high end brands for skin and hair treatments like Dermalogica, Casmara, kerastase etc.

Honestly I was two minds when I entered the laser room because I had no idea what to expect. I was thinking since my skin was sensitive, it would react badly and would turn raw and rash-y. I was made comfortable by Dr. Anita Arya. She briefed about the machine and the treatment before starting the treatment. She made me wear googles to avoid laser beam getting into my eyes. She made me aware that I would not experience any kind of pain but there would rather a warm sensation.

She started targeting my skin in small portions with green colored light and there was a warm tingling on my skin which was very bearable. When you are at the receiving end of an energy source, you have to feel some of the heat. Within 10 minutes my laser session was over. I didn’t even realize I was done as she kept me engaged.

I immediately checked my face in the mirror across my left, to check how my face was looking. I was amazed to see there was no redness or rashes. She applied an instant recovery mask on my face which gave quite a cooling sensation. And after removing the facial mask, my skin was looking happy. With just one session of course you can’t expect 100% transformation, but my skin totally loved the pampering. It was glowing.

I feel when you are at a beauty salon or clinic, you must be made comfortable, must be enjoying yourself, then only it counts as a quality session. I can say Kyra Laser & Skin Clinic truly pampers you while lightening your mood and uplifting your spirits. That’s how you step out of the clinic with a happy & glowing face.
