Vitamin C is one great ingredient when it comes to skincare. It offers anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and brightening properties. This ingredient works for every skin type, even for acne-prone skin. But it is important that the product that you choose contains a stable formulation of Vitamin C. Then only you can experience the real benefits of Vitamin C. I have been trying out Mamaearth VItamin C range including their face wash, toner, serum, day cream, sleeping mask, etc. and I would love to pour my thoughts on the range.
You might be seeing a lot of Instagram reviews by beauty bloggers of their range and must be wondering if this range is really that effective? Well, there is no harm in promoting a product if it delivers what it claims. So let’s see if Mamaearth Vitamin C range actually delivers what it claims?

Let’s see how these products fared on me:
Mamaearth Vitamin C Facewash
Along with Vitamin C, this face wash also contains Turmeric which is another great ingredient to have in your skincare. The facewash highly smells of Turmeric for that reason. This face wash lathers really well, so you need just a pea-size amount to clean your face. It is gel-based, hence is suitable for all skin types.

- Massage gently and you will notice lather forming on your face.
- Enjoy the massage while the face wash dissolves impurities, oil, and dirt from your face.
- Wash away the face wash with clean water.
- Pat dry.
My Experience
I found this face wash to be a decent buy. It does what it is supposed to do, cleanses my face effectively. I don’t feel dryness or stretchy or sticky feeling. There is no slippery feeling either which is a common thing after using a gel-based face wash. Skin feels soft and calm. It gives a refreshing feeling.

Yes.
Mamaearth Vitamin C Face Toner
A toner is considered to be quite an extra step in skincare for some, while some swears by it. For me, I have found that only medicated toners work for my skin. Mamaearth Vitamin C toner contains Vitamin C and Cucumber. My skin loves cucumbers. Cucumbers are highly moisturizing and give a tightening effect to pores.

- After patting dry your face, take a damp cotton ball.
- Apply 1-2 sprays of the toner on the wet cotton ball.
- Swipe the cotton ball across your face concentrating on your T Zone.
- Let your face dry naturally.
My Experience
This clear runny toner contains Vitamin C which could be the reason that I feel a bit of a burning sensation every single time I use it. Sometimes, my skin reacts badly to the product resulting in redness too. So I have stopped using it. I would not recommend it. My skin reacts to Vitamin C in a positive way, but I have had only a bad experience with this toner.
Recommended?
No.
Mamaerath Vitamin C Illuminating Skin Serum
I highly rely on face serums due to my sensitive skin. Serums are lightweight and are specially designed to address specific skin concerns. Mamaearth Vitamin C Skin Illuminating Serum is high on vitamin C to target dullness, pigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. The serum also contains Turmeric which happens to be great for problematic skin.

How To Use Mamaearth Vitamin C Skin Illuminating Skin Serum
I would suggest you use it once daily and you could use twice if your skin gets adapted to the serum.
- After cleansing and toning your skin, dot this serum on all over your face.
- Gently massage your face in an upward circular motion.
- Follow up with an oil-free moisturizer.
My Experience
I started using it at night and now sometimes, I use it in the morning too. It’s a lightweight serum, so I do not face any oily or stickiness with this serum. I have oily skin, so I hardly require a moisturizer to follow up, but it is a good practice to supply an oil-free moisturizer to oily skin.
The most important factor while using this serum or any product which contains Vitamin C is to protect your skin from the Sun. Otherwise, you would not only lose all the good results but will even your skin would get sensitive towards the sun. Wear a high SPF sunscreen or sunblock.
The serum is nice in terms of providing hydration and clarity. I would not say, I received exceptional results, but I am hoping by the time, I finish this little bottle, I would be able to see visible and positive changes n my skin.

Mamaearth Vitamin C Face Cream With SPF20
I have oily and acne-prone skin, so I steer clear of using face creams. I prefer a very lightweight lotion or serum. Mamaearth Vitamin C face cream is a lightweight face cream with SPF. IF you know my skin, it does not like creams that are infused with SPF of any level. I tried out this cream, but I got a few blocked pores, and that was the time I knew this is another dud for me in the name of face creams.

How To Use Mamaearth Vitamin C Face Cream?
- After cleansing & toning, you can apply this face cream in the morning.
- Dot this face cream on your whole face and massage it gently.
- Use circular and upward motion to absorb the cream
- You can opt for a separate sunblock to go over it.
My Experience
When it comes to choosing a face cream, you should be more careful. A face wash or a face pack stays for a little time on your face, while a face cream stays for longer. It penetrates deeply. And it can affect your skin positively or negatively in the long run.
For Dry – Normal Skin: This is a good sunscreen. This cream will moisturize skin beautifully.
For Combination- Oily Skin: Especially if you have acne-prone skin, I would advise not to pick it. The SPF infused creams generally block pores. Which results in acne. So does this face cream.
Recommended?
Only for Dry to Normal Skin.
Mamaearth Vitamin C Sleeping Mask
Lately, every brand has been coming up with sleeping masks. Sleeping masks are meant to provide extra hydration and extra nutrition to the skin while it’s in a repair mode. I find my self quite uncomfortable to sleep while something feels wet on my skin. But this sleeping mask, kind of dries after a few minutes and it’s easier to sleep on with this mask.

How To Use Mamaearth Vitamin C Sleeping Mask?
- After cleansing your face, apply a thick layer of Mamaearth Vitamin C Sleeping Mask.
- Sleep On It.
- The next morning, wash the mask with warm water.
My Experience
As I first apply this sleeping mask, my skin feels a tingling sensation. It has a gel-like texture and kind of blurs out skin imperfections like dark spots, pores, etc. It feels like I am wearing nothing on my skin. The mask feels quite cool on my skin. I have sensitive skin, but I did not face any issue with the mask.
If I have to pick only one product from the Mamaearth Vitamin C range, I will pick, Mamaearth Vitamin C Sleeping Mask for sure. I think it works best for my skin. It’s a comfortable sleeping mask. Does not feel heavy, itchy, slippery, or sticky while it’s on. It goes semi dry-dry and I can comfortably sleep wearing it, The nest morning skin feels refreshed and well-rested.
I am yet to see big changes in my skin, as this maks needs to be applied every single night in order to persist the results.

Mamaearth Vitamin C Range is not bad in case Vitamin C suits your skin type and you already have a fair experience with this ingredient. Along with Vitamin C, the range also includes Turmeric as their active ingredient. Most of the products fared decently on me. So you can definitely try it by yourself.
