I am going to share my views on Makeup Studio Professional Matte Silk Effect Lip Duo Cherry Blossom. It’s a long lasting lip balm + color lip product. If you are a matte lover, you are in here for a treat, This ultimate matte lip color will leave your lips beautifully sculpted, fuller and full of color. Matte but it does not make you feel uncomfortable. This is a 2 step lip product. The base contains clear lip balm upon which the color goes effortlessly. It makes you move around without worrying about chapped lips. You can also apply the lip balm to give it more of a silk feeling. The formula also contains pomegranate extracts which moisturizes and protects lips.

Whenever a lipstick is named as Cherry something, we assume that it would be a dark shade, but on contrary, Makeup Studio Professional Matte Silk Effect Lip Duo Cherry Blossom is a cool toned pink shade. I really wonder if they wrongly labeled the product or it’s just the way they really named it. It should have been named something like Rose Petals.

Cherry Blossom, the shade is cool toned, but it is manageable for my wheatish skin tone. It can be toned down depending upon how much product you use. It can go as mute as a nude lipstick . Fair skin tones would love it too.

Pigmentation & Coverage of Makeup Studio Professional Matte Silk Effect Lip Duo

The pigmentation of Makeup Studio Professional Matte Silk Effect Lip Duo is very nice, smooth and build-able. Applying the balm as step no 1 really gives you a nice base on which you can build color. The finish is smooth and comfortable for your lips. It’s not like other liquid lipsticks which make you feel uncomfortable. The balm really saves your lips from getting dry.

Cherry Blossom, might not be a dark shade, but it gives a very smooth and opaque coverage in just one swipe. The color pigment is intense and rich. Hence there is no patchiness to be observed later on.

How long does Makeup Studio Professional Matte Silk Effect Lip Duo Cherry Blossom stay on lips?

The color stays for long on lips surviving in between sips and mini meals. Also it does not go patchy. The color does not fade in installments. rather it goes away leaving a subtle tint on my lips. Overall it has a staying power of 5-6 hours on a stretch. You can anyway touch up. It won’t look cakey.

I wish Makeup Studio Professional Matte Silk Effect Lip Duo was not that pricey and there were more shades to experiment with. It’s quite a costly affair. Being from professional range, the cost is justified with it’s performance, but still, I think someone would rather go for a MAC with that money.
