Moving on to the post, I am going to talk about Ma Earth Botanicals Rose Facial Scrub, which is my very first product from the brand. This is relatively new brand to me. I recently started hearing about this from fellow bloggers. I felt really tempted to try it’s products. I was lucky to find this brand listed on Smytten under free trials. So I ordered my free trial & the very third day I was able to lay my hands on this scrub.

How To Use
It is a powered scrub, hence must be diluted water/rose water /milk. Since I have oily & acne prone skin, I avoid using milk and go for rose water/water. It softens to great extent once diluted. If you have used Forest Essentials Facial Ubtans, you will know how powdered cleansers softens after diluted.
Packaging
It is a powdered scrub/cleanser which comes in a transparent plastic tub with a black lid over. There is also a secure lid over the tub to avoid any spillage. The packaging tells you all about the product. The ingredients/ how to use/ about the product every thing is mentioned on the pack.
Color, Texture & Smell
It is a powder glimpse of pink crushed rose petals, almonds, oats etc. The powder is really finely grained. It is not hard to touch or use. When mixed with water/rose water/ milk, it softens to great extent further. It does not feel harsh on skin. Cleanses skin mildly. It mostly smells of Germanium essential oil. I was hoping it to smell like rose petals but disappointed. Germanium essential oil does not smell bad, but it is little strong for my taste.
This scrub/cleanser comes in powder form since, it does not have any preservatives.
My Experience
I use it every day once, since it is advised to do so to notice the positive effects on skin. I can say it is good. I noticed a soft glow from very first use. I first used it few nights ago. Next morning, I liked how my skin looked fresh and glowy, I was like, what the hell did I use last night for this amazing soft glow. Later in the day I realized, it was the scrub from Ma Earth Botanicals.
It has all the good things, oats, almonds, rose petals & some essential oils to effectively cleanse & nourish skin naturally & gently. Even though this is termed as a scrub, I would call it a cleanser, a mild one. It feels nothing like a scrub since it does not have (harsh) granules when diluted with rose water or milk. It softens to great extent, that I just keep on massaging my face for few minutes before rinsing it out with cold water.
There is no stretchy feeling afterwords, since it actually nourishes skin while cleansing it. But I still put some moisturizer. or my night cream (since I use it at night).
It is little pricey, but 125 gm will last for about 4-5 months, so eventually it will be economical or at least I would like to think so. I have not purchased the full sized product yet, I so want to have it, but wish the brand comes up with smaller sizes of this scrub.

I really like this Rose Facial Scrub from Ma Earth Botanicals. It is a definite try for those who are into herbal /natural skin care. It feels very delicate on skin but is effective in lifting out dead skin & impurities off the skin. Gives healthy glow. Wish the price was bit lower.
