I could not restrain myself from picking up some Lever Ayush products last month when I saw them at my nearby supermarket. After all the brand is being promoted by my favorite Akshay Kumar. I picked up Lever Ayush Anti Pimple Turmeric Face Wash, Anti Cavity Toothpaste, and a Lemongrass hand wash. Turmeric is associated with healthy skin & body. Specially for problematic skin turmeric is considered to be a boon. Ayush Anti Pimple face wash contains Turmeric & Nalpamaradi Tailam. We are all aware about turmeric but what is Nalpamaradi Tailam? I shall be sharing my knowledge with you. Also I will tell you how effective this face wash is on my hormonal acne. So stay glued.

This anti pinmple face wash that contains Haldi and Nalpamaradi Tailam. Use this face wash to get a clean and clear skin daily.

Turmeric : Haldi has antiseptic & purification properties, which takes care of the bacterial infections.

Packaging

The turmeric based face wash form Ayush comes in a convenient packaging. It comes in a transparent plastic flip top tube which also has all the information. The packaging is secure & attractive. It is travel friendly too.

Fragrance & Texture

It smells very fresh but herbal smell. The smell is quite pleasant though. It is a gel based face wash which lathers well. A pea size amount of this yellowish gel can cover my  face & neck. It does not leave behind a slippery feeling but but of stretchy feeling is there for sure.

My Experience With Lever Ayush Anti Pimple Turmeric Face Wash

As I mentioned above the face wash contains Turmeric & Nalpamradi Tailam which clears the skin off all the dirt, grim & oil. These are very generic ingredients that this face wash contains. I was really excited to try out this new brand. After all it is endorsed by my favorite actor Akshay Kumar.

I like the fragrance of the face wash. It is mild and refreshing. Even though it contains a form of oil, but the texture is totally gel based. So it lathers well and does not feel sticky or slippery. It cleanses skin nicely, takes away oil. Leaves skin feeling fresh and clean.

It does not dry out my oily skin horribly but I must moisturize after words. It can keep skin fresh and matte for about 2 hours. I wish the ingredients had worked better in terms of keeping my skin spot free. It cannot control my acne. It does not stop formation of new acne.

Do I Recommend Lever Ayush Anti Pimple Turmeric Face Wash?

• If you have dry/normal skin type you would find this face wash bit drying in nature.
• If you have oily/combination skin, you might find it a nice clarifying face wash.
• It does not help much with acne/zits, I would not recommend it to use for that purpose.

Summary

Ayush Anti Pimple Turmeric Face Wash is an ayurvedic face wash which is gel based, smells nice & cleanses skin well. It is affordable & economical. The packaging is quite convenient & travel friendly too. But it does nothing extra ordinary in long term. Despite of having Turmeric & Nalpamaradi Tailam as it’s main ingredients, the face wash does not help with problematic skin. Do not expect it to relieve you with acne or pimples.
