InstaGlam Bridal Glow Night Serum : Review

I was quite tempted to blend few essential oils and make a potent night serum when I received InstaGlam Bridal Glow Night Serum in my Happy Hamper December Box which comes with an exclusive #blushingbride theme.  This night serum is an exotic blend of several essential oils. Essential oils are highly potent and can really work magically if chosen wisely.  Bridal Glow Serum contains a lot of essential oils, so I was bit skeptical before using it, but then the courageous me, took a chance. It’s been about a week now that I have been using this serum, and I would like to present my initial thoughts on the same. Stay tuned.

Instaglam Bridal Glow Night Serum gives you a flawless, spot free, lustrous and even toned skin. This serum is a blend of several essential oils which tones and moisturizes skin from within. Regular usage of the serum will lighten dark spots and make your skin radiant.

Ingredients

Pomengranate Seed, Argan Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, Frankinsence, Carrot Seed, Roman Chamomile, Neroli, Cedarwood, Geranium, Lavender, Fennel Seed, Rose, Lemon, Jasmine Absolute.

Packaging

Instaglam Bridal Glow Night Serum comes packed in a brown colored glass bottle with a dropper fitted at it’s mouth. There is a white label across the bottle describing the product along with it’s ingredients. Since this product contains natural ingredients and mostly essential oils, it must be kept out of sunlight to maintain it’s efficacy.

Fragrance & Texture

Instaglam Bridal Glow Night Serum contains a lot of essential oils & other natural ingredients hence the smell is also a mix of these essential oils. Sometimes, I can make out few notes identifying individual essential oil (I have used a lot of them). The fragrance is not pungent, but quite herbal. It lingers for a small time after application.

Texture wise, it’s beautiful. Just like an essential oil. It’s clear and fast absorbing. Leaving no oiliness or stickiness behind. I am really amazed at the texture of this serum.

How To Use Instaglam Bridal Glow Night Serum?

I just take few drops of this serum after cleansing & toning my face, and pat it on. I don’t massage it, just to avoid stimulating over oil production.

My Experience

I know, I am writing this review very soon, since, I have been using this serum just from last week only. I just want to present my initial thoughts on the serum. I was really looking forward to make my own blend of essential oils to sail through winters easily. Using your custom mix is mostly beneficial instead of experimenting with brands. But I am glad I received it just on time.

Using a lot of essential oils, can be bit tricky specially if your skin is not used to essential oils. But my skin loves essential oils. This serum contains a lot of them. I was bit hesitant to put it on my skin initially because it contains Argan Oil which I thought might be heavy for my skin. But thank fully, I DID NOT BREAK OUT after using this serum. This is my biggest worry while trying out a new product.

InstaGlam Bridal Glow Night Serum, is accompanying me these days for my skin ritual these days. My skin ritual is very simple at night. After cleansing, I just use Fab India Tea Tree Skin Toner (another new find) & this serum. That’s all. I don’t use anything else. My skin does not ask for more moisture (it’s oily BTW). Just few drops of this serum, and I am done for the day.

Effect wise, I would say, withing past week, my skin is calmer than before, it’s moisturized. No dry patches that I get during winter despite of having oily skin. I am yet to receive that healthy glow. I am really hoping that this serum will help me with my dark spots.

I shall update you in few more weeks regarding my skin’s progress with this serum. If you have dry skin, you can use it just before your heavy duty night cream to reap the benefits of essential oils.

Instaglam Bridal Glow Night Serum, is an all skin type night serum, that contains a lot of skin benefiting essential oils. This serum is very lightweight, and sinks really fast into skin. The fragrance of the serum might be not that appealing but would not irritate sensitive nose. It’s not chemical based so it needs some time to show long lasting and noticeable effects. The serum might look bit pricey but would last longer since you need a very little every time.
