Festivals fill our lives with joy & happiness by bringing us closer to each other. They make us forget our conflicts and worries. Starting with Navratri, the festival season has geared up and not to forget the wedding season. Every festival & auspicious occasion calls for traditional attire, gifts & home decor. Girls love shopping be it for home, gifting purpose or for themselves. Now the question arises. How to shop during festival season that it does not burn hole in our pocket? Worry not girls. You can shop as much as you want if you just keep few things in mind. So start working on your shopping list after reading this super saving
Get The Best Of Online Shopping Festivals
I am an avid online shopper and mostly shop for home utilities & general items from Amazon. So I specifically lookout for Amazon Offers to get me the best deals. But hey, hold on. During festivals, most of the big names in the online shopping game are running really hot sale campaigns. You can get 40% to 80% off on your favorite items. I am not saying to give up your loyalty, but don’t forget to check out other shopping websites to find the best deal for the item you are looking for. There are always a chance to get a nice deal on the websites which you generally don’t even visit.
Online & Offline Discount Coupons
When we shop online or offline, retailers are kind enough to slip some discount vouchers which we can redeem later. I generally collect them at one place & redeem them when I really need to buy something expensive. What to do when you do not have any discount coupon? There are multiple websites which brings together all the best deals at one place. I recently stumbled upon PaisaWapas.com. It saved me a lot of time to go to different websites and check for the deals. It has various categories to give a glimpse of various deals such as festive offers, daily deals, product wise deals and even top coupons.
Get Friends With Local Sellers
When you like to find the best deals, you just can’t miss the local sellers offline. At times I have got lucky to find my favorite piece of craft offline that too at very nominal price. I feel crafty stuff is expensive online. The online stores really eats a big margin in between. So when it’s about home decoration, I head on to my local area craft sellers. I can also bargain with them on top of the discount they offer since I am quite a regular there. Got my point?
Re-cycle, Re-Match & Re-Mix
We buy clothes & accessories every year for every festival or family functions. No wonder our cupboards are over flowing. You don’t have to always buy new stuff at every occasion but simultaneously I am not saying that you should be repeating your last year outfit. The idea is simple, grab few pieces from last years, try and mix them. Try to style them differently using different accessories. You will be amazed to find a stylist in you. I am currently working on such post right now where I will be showing you what I did with my last year’s festival outfits. You can buy few more accessories or footwear to complete the new look though.
Regarding home decor too, I would say try and recycle few stuff. Try making some handmade items and it will give you a new warmth to your home since it has got your touch. Rearrange your furniture or jazz up your rooms by exchanging show pieces. You will absolutely love this new home.
I hope this post makes sense to you. I am just trying to give a practical approach to shopping around festivals. Hope you get the best deals.

Recycling is a great way. Every couple of months if we go through our entire closet we will find clothes we haven’t worn in a while and give it a nice look.
