How To Flaunt a Tube Top With A Saree? : #Saree #FromMyCloset

Cool breeze would often touch my cheeks before getting  lost in my hair. Sometimes it would just play with the long pallu of my sky blue colored printed Saree. There was no radio, but I could hear a soft romantic song playing in the background. Ahh.. The die hard romantic in me would never give up.

Let’s hit back to reality now. Wearing a saree is fun. At the same time it awakens a sense of grace, beauty & pride. Casually printed sarees do the trick. You can wear them to office, outings or just for your supper. They bring a playful mood out of a hectic day you might be having. The beautiful lively colors of these prints are refreshing. Just wear your gloss & heels to complete the look.

#SareeSeries was on my mind from a long time. In fact I wanted to do it in last October-November. I could never start it. I tried, but I could not get the right notes.

I am giving another try and here I am with my first post on the series. This post features a very lightweight, I mean literally lightweight like a feather, Chiffon  saree which is in my possession from like 6 years but have worn it just once before the shoot. The abstract prints on the saree are very enticing. The fabric of the saree feels as soft as your own skin since the fabric is very delicate too.

The color of the saree is beautiful. It’s sky blue. The self print however contains a lot of colors like royal blue, grey, green, silver, brown, black, maroon…. !! Only if you could make it out.

Tube Top As Blouse

Effortless style a saree
Effortless Style – that comes easily~!!!

Why would you wear a tube tup as your blouse? I did because, I wanted to add some spiciness to the attire. The charm of a blouse upon a saree can not be denied. The style & fitting of a blouse is as important as that of the saree. You love wearing saree, but hate to get blouses stitched? Grab your tube top baby. After all you have them in all the colors. Even a crop top works fine for that matter.

Accessorize & Flaunt
Accessorize & Flaunt

Accessory : It’s super easy. You throw in a statement piece. If you have broad shoulders, a chunky piece around your neck would look very appealing. Or you can go for long & heavy danglers. If you are a petite, even strings of necklaces would add to your charm. Basically you just need to hide what should not be revealed, and reveal what looks good.

The Hair: You can also do some tricks with your hair. If you think you feel too naked you can style your hair as they fall on your chest. If you are confident that you are not showing too much you can even opt for a pony tail or bun.

The Heels : Go for basic heels. Even kitten heels would add some charm to your personality while wearing a saree. Specially if your legs are short as compared to your upper body, you must compensate the difference with your heels. But keep them black, beige or very basic. Nothing fancy since you are already wearing your charm.

Why does a tube top look hot with a Saree?
