Glamego July 2019 Review – 10 Brands in 1 Box

Few days ago, I received, Glamego July 2019 box. Subscription boxes really excite me. They are fun to un-box. You get to learn about new brands and try out new products most of the times. Which otherwise is not possible unless you shell out a large cash on getting fancy looking products. This is the biggest advantage of these subscription boxes. They introduce the latest brands and products to your life that too at a subsequent cost. Let’s see what I got in Glamego’s latest edition.

The USP of the box is the fact that it contains 5 step Korean style skin care routine out of 10 steps. Apart form the 5 Step routine products, there are multiple samples in the box. I have tried all the products, I am ready to review the box and the products for you. Stay tuned.

Glamego July 2019 Box – 10 Brands In 1 Box

Glamego is a monthly subscription based makeup and beauty box that is shipped to you every month. It contains at least 4-6 sample and full sized products. The box offers skin care, hair care, bath and body products along with some makeup, depending upon the theme of the box. The box is priced at Rs. 399 only and the cost goes down if you subscribe for 3,6 or 12 months.

Glamego July 2019 box mainly contains skin care products, including a 5 step Korean style skin care routine out of 10 steps. Which means the box contains 5 products that could be used while following a Korean style skin care routine consisting of 10 steps all together. Let’s have a look over the products.

Alda Cosmetica Innovative Formulation

This is basically a makeup remover. It’s consistency is almost like a lip balm in a tub. It smells highly of oranges. It’s mostly orange essential oil to be precise and not exactly the fruit. It is a travel size product. I tried removing my liquid lipstick with the makeup remover, and it came out easily. It’s good stuff.

Herb Island Vitamin C Glow Boosting Anti ageing Scrub Face Wash

And that’s quite a long name for a product. Herb Island is an Australian brand. This scrub cum face wash, is one great product in the box. It has got nice scrubbing, even-sized grannuals which give a nice cleansing effect. The grannuals are not harsh though, yet the product could be used as an actual scrub.

It smells highly of fresh oranges. I love the smell and the gel based texture of the product. It costs Rs. 475 for a 100ml product that I got. This product alone covers the cost of the box.

Kamaakshi Seaweed & Cucumber Face Mask

This is the first time, I heard about Kamaakshi as a brand.  This face mask is like a step 3 in the Korean style skin care routine. After using a makeup remover, a scrub , you are supposed to use a face mask. I am glad, Glamego supplied a Sea weed and cucumber based face mask as it is suitable for all skin types and won’t hurt sensitive or acne prone skin.

The face mask smells like Lush Aqua Marina face mask. Along with sea weed, the face mask, also contains cucumber, sea mud, ginger oil and spirulina. It is fine in texture and gave a nice cooling and cleaning effect post usage.

Tuzba Naturals Eyes Tea

Moving on to the step no 4, we have something for eyes now. It’s a blend of several essential oils in a small sleek roll on tube. But honestly, I can’t use it. I remember getting it in my Fab Bag June 2019 box and after using the roll on, I could feel the aroma of this roll on was making my eyes watery. This product could be used only while hitting your bed.

Aroma Magic Sunblock Lotion SP 30 PA++

This is a lightweight, light pink colored sun block. It gives matte finish. Does not give white cast. Has sweet and herbal smell. Another good product in the box.

Grecobe The Green Coffee

I had never tried green coffee before, but was quite excited to try it as I am quite habitual to having green tea everyday. Well, the green tea tasted more like a nice green tea. There was bit of sweetness and hint of jaggery in the coffee. I am not sure if it has got jaggery in it, but it surely tasted sweet. This pack contains 10 sachets of green coffee, out of which I have already used few.

Keero’s Roasted Supersnack Multiseed

Another healthy thing in Glamego July 2019, you get is this pack of multi seeds which include, green pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, watermaleon seeds, sesame seeds and dried dates to add some sweetness t the whole mixture. I gulped down this pack after taking the pictures. It was so damn tasty and fulfilling.

Hiphop Cleansing Charcoal Nose Strip

Charcoal nose strips are very popular in Korean skin care and it’s considered to be an essential part of the routine. I have already tried these nose strips before, and they are okay in terms of results. I found them bit messy. You have to be very perfect in pasting them on your nose and then taking them off only after they have dried off completely. Otherwise it will be a waste.

Global Beauty Secrets Japanese Face Wash

I love the cleanser type consistency it has. It’s not a regular face wash. I found it quite sophisticated or should I say luxurious. It cleansed my skin nicely. Has mild smell and did not dry out my skin. I think I would get a full sized product.

 

Glamego July 2019 box left me awestruck. It offers great value. I found many useful products in this box. And the box itself is beautiful and sturdy. The box is a nice gifting option as it contains assorted products. Haven’t seen one with so many products. Maybe that’s why Glamego is the no. 1 beauty box in India.
