GlamEgo July 2017 : Unboxing & Review

As I opened my GlamEgo box, the July 2017 edition, I started looking out for the products which shout of luxury since the box is themed as ‘Unbox The Luxury’. Finally I settled for Manna Kadar Lipstick as the only luxury product in the box since it costs Rs. 1560. And that’s all. Even though the 3 D Face -Neck Sheet Mask from MondSub looks luxurious, but, I don’t think it qualifies as a luxury item. So I guess, Manna Kadar it is, the super star of the box of the month.

The box itself is a sturdy light green (ombre) box which is made out of card box & can be used to store something, like, err.. cosmetics, what else? It can hold many small items. I wonder, only for four products why did glamEgo choose such a huge box?

Coming to the products, I received a (luxury)lipstick, a hand & body lotion sample, a lip scrub & a 3D face-neck mask. Let me tell you what I really liked about the box & the products ultimately.

• Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Lipstick – Rs. 1560 – Full Sized
• Mondsub Pearl Revitalizing Face & Neck 3 D Mask – Rs. 250 for 1 piece.
• Neemli Naturals Green Tea Lip Scrub – Rs. 250 for 10gm.
• Bio Bloom Lavender Hand & Body Lotion – Rs. 150 for 30ml.

Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Lipstick  Serenity

I got to choose the shade of Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Lipstick & I chose Serenity, which is kind of a Frosted Baby Pink shade, an everyday kind of lipstick. It is creamy and hence moisturizing. But went bit patchy when I applied it for the first time on my lips. Not a very likable thing for lipstick which costs 1560 bucks. Shall be testing it for few days and review in detail.

Neemli Naturals Green Tea Lip Scrub

I have tried Coffee scrub from Neemli & it was marvelous. It actually inspired me to make Sandalwood + Coffee Scrub which again works wonders for oily skin. I really hope the lip scrub from Neemli is also going to be proved an effective product. As I just want my lip scrubs to be pink. I know Neemli Lip Scrub is a Green tea based scrub, but still, I would have preferred a pink lip scrub…. just saying.

Bio Bloom Lavender Hand & Body Lotion

Anything Lavender, and I am a fan. When I saw Lavender hand & body lotion in the box, I knew, I am going to like it the most. And I was so right. I inhaled the familiar fragrance, closed my eyes & praised it with a faint smile on my lips. It is a fast absorbing, light lotion which is perfect for summer/monsoon season. I might keep this 30ml bottle in my handbag for travel times.

Mondsub Pearl Revitalizing Face & Neck 3 D Mask

I have never tried any sheet mask from Mondsub before but have read a lot about the brand. I am really excited to try out my first ever 3D mask. Quite innovative na – 3 D Sheet Mask. I actually went exploring computer graphics in my mind when I read the term 3D, my techie mind, I tell you!!

Overall, I liked my glamEgo July 2017 box. I am not that impressed by the lipstick though, but other products seem more effective & worthy. The total cost of the box comes about 2210 bucks, which is impressive.  What you think think?
