And let me tell you how lucky that moment proved to be for me. My Experience With Lotus Make-Up Ecostay Kajal ‘One of the smoothest kajal I have ever used’, would be the best line to describe the texture of Lotus Make-up Ecostay Kajal. It feels velvety against waterline and lash line. The finish is powdery as opposed to the general creamy ones. But it does not flake away. It surprisingly stays glued to the eyes. I feel the texture bit powdery only when I take it off. It feels grainy. Bit weird, huh? The pigmentation, is paid off from the very first swipe. The color is jet black. I loved how beautiful Plum kajal’s have been in color and Lotus Ecostay is no lesser than them. It’s super black and super strong, like how I would love my coffee to be. Coming to the 10 hours stay claim, it’s quite subjective. I have worn it for 10 hours and more, sometimes, it stays puts, while sometimes, it gets deposited under my eyes giving me ‘panda eyes’. the longevity depends upon the humidity level. In case I am sweating, the kajal leaves a mess behind. Also it’s bit hard to take it off with just a normal cleanser or face wash. I need to use a nice makeup remover to take it off completely. This kajal comes in a pencil form which has to be sharpened to get a precise application. The Good Smooth Texture Nice pigmentation Beautiful finish Smudge proof in non humid environment Affordable and economical Widely available Safe on sensitive eyes The Bad It does not work in hot and humid environment. It needs to be sharpened before using to maintain a precise tip. The product is water proof & smudge proof. The texture of the eye makeup is soft while the color is intense. Buy here at discount. Star Performers Plum Angel Eyes Kohl Plum Natur Studio All Day Wear Kohl Kajal Ingredients Packaging I totally love the packaging of this eye shadow & gel liner. The duo comes in a very compact, sturdy and stylish packaging. The eye shadow is packed in a very cute small black tub with a mirror attached to it’s lid. The eye shadow tub acts as a lid over the gel liner. How practical. So both are kind of stacked. The gel liner is packed in a glass pot as the maybelline gel eyeliner. There is also a dial ended brush. The brush is quite small but gets the ob done. From the pointed end you can pick gel liner while from the angled side you can smudge the gel liner or apply the eye shadow. The pointed side is my favorite as it helps to pick just the exact amount of gel liner that can get me a precise line. The flat angular side of the brush is okay. You can use it to smooth the edges. I use another brush to apply the eye shadow. I would give 5 star on the packaging itself as it works like a charm for someone like me who loves wearing black eye shadow and heavy kohl-ed eyes at the same time. My Experience With Seven Seas 2 in 1 Eye Shadow & Gel Eyeliner A multi tasking product is always welcome as we are always on move. Who has time to toss in eyeliner, eye shadow brush while we have more important things to carry. Seven Seas 2 in 1 Eye Shadow & Gel Eyeliner is stylishly compact. It could be carried even in the smallest handbag. Coming on to the pigmentation of the product, I like the combo very much. The gel liner is the blackest and smoothest to apply while the eye shadow is finely pressed and I do not face any fall out while applying. The eye shadow is matte black but goes dark grey on eyes. The Eye Shadow The eye shadow might not feel as intense as you might like, it looks very soft on eyes. There is no harshness in the shade. It looks beautiful on my eyes. The shade might not come intense in one go, so you can build the shade as much as you like. Just don’t forget to blend it using the right brush. The eye shadow is not water proof. It still goes for 6-7 hours without smudge. Later it fades away. The Gel Eyeliner A gel eyeliner is one of the most revolutionary product in the cosmetic industry. It’s smooth yet performing. Seven Seas gel eyeliner is smooth, water proof & smudge proof. It can last all day long on my deep set eyes. Plus its so easy to put it up on eyes. Esqido Gel Liners Shade – Black & Brown The black shade is quite an intense black. It’s dark, matte and smooth. Similarly the brown is a true brown. It looks very beautiful on my dark brown eyes. I love wearing this on my water line as well. Formula, Finish & Pigmentation No doubt Esqido delivers quality products. After using their lashes, I can vouch for their products. These gel liners are highly pigmented. One swipe delivers beautiful color as the formula is creamy and smooth. Does not sting eyes. Also the formula is quick dry hence sets very soon and does not smudge. You can splash water on your eyes after wearing these gel liners, and can still flaunt beautiful lined eyes. But if you rub eyes after splashing water, you may smudge the liner so it’s not 100% water proof. I love wearing liners with matte finish and Esqido Gel Liners deliver matte finish. Another bonus point. Longevity Gel liners promise superb staying power. Esqido Gel Liners too stay put until smudged deliberately or taken off with an eye makeup remover. The intensity too remains the same. That’s what the matte effect is all about. What I liked the most about Esqido Gel Liners – The Good Gel Liner formula which is smooth, quick dry and smudge proof. Beautiful color pay off. Intense shades. Matte Finish Long lasting on eyes. Convenient packaging Quality & Quantity of the product is impressive. What puts me off – The Bad The formula is not 100% water proof. If your eyes are wet, you might smudge the liner. Can’t tolerate – The Ugly The tip goes blunt. And you can’t sharpen it since it’s retractable. You are stuck with a blunt tip FOREVER. I love the pigmentation, the color intensity and the smooth formula that Esqido Gel Liners offer. The matte finish stays for long on eyes. The packaging is beautiful, convenient and travel friendly. The product is not entirely water proof but is smudge proof. It is also giving a free gift with every purchase from the same range, a beautiful box clutch in black color with some shimmer. The box clutch is no doubt a great accessory. But what can you say the same about the actual products that are released in this range? Lakme Absolute is a beautiful range and is decently priced. Kareena Kapoor Khan when collaborated with Lakme, produced her own line, as Lakme Kareena Kappor Khan Absolute Range. The range is supposed to be glamorous while possessing some high voltage drama. I just bought one product from this range, appearantly a mascara which has been named as lash definer (very fancy), but does it deliver the celebrity status? Can we expect the same high performance that we expect from Kareena in her movies? We will see. Kareena Kapoor Khan Lakme Absolute Lash Definer Welcome this luxurious mascara for a glamorous look. Kareena Kaapoor Khan & Lakme, curated this new range for your eye lashes. Get that just woke up look with this creamy mascara. The mascara’s formula is lightweight hence there is no flakiness or clumps. Only amplified and magnified lashes guaranteed with volume. Intensify your eyes with this blackest black mascara, the best one can have. Available at Nykaa , Amazon Shades: Only Black shade is available. Price : INR 1100 for 15ml. Lakme Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Collection Eye Definer (Eye Liner/ Kohl) Lash Definer (Mascara) Pout Definer (lipstick), Lip Definer (Lip liner) , Ace That Base (Foundtaion Stick), Drape And Sculpt (Cheek Contour) , Brows On Fleek (Brow Pencil with brush) Why I Chose Lakme Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Lash Definer? Well the range contains quite 6-7 products, including a foundation stick, blush, kohl, brow pencil, mascara etc. My first preference was of course to pick some lipsticks. But they were already out of stock along with the blush stick. I don’t have any mascara which is worth more than thousand rupees except Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara which was a free gift with Estee Double Wear Foundation. I feel within thousand bucks you can get wonderful mascaras. actually I use a lot of under 1000 bucks mascaras. They never disappoint me. Coming back to my shopping story, Lakme Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Lash Definer was the only choice for me at that time. Why I bought the mascara If I didn’t want to? Remember the box clutch I talked about in the beginning. It’s the culprit. It’s something I really wanted to have. It was too classy and beautiful to let go. I made my mind to buy one product and just get over with it. I don’t regret my decision regarding the clutch at least. My Experience With Lakme Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Lash Definer She is a glamour queen. Her fame proceeds her wherever she goes. It is not the first time that an actress has partnered with a cosmetic brand. Has happened in Hollywood and Bollywood before. And we always welcome it. This lash definer comes in a fat solid black bottle with a golden cap. The cap has an applicator attached to it. The applicator is something that I want to talk about in detail. The fiber applicator is beautifully designed to get your lashes separated easily. The amplification goes very well after they are operated. The tip of the applicator is beautifully curved so that it can be swiped across the lashes easily. The formula is clump free and very lightweight. I don’t feel any heaviness after wearing the mascara. Since it’s lightweight, I definitely need more of it as I am addicted to heavy lashes. The formula is quick dry. It’s so fuss free. The shade is a true black. I don’t think you can ask for more black. Coming to the after effects, Yes you can see some nice work on your lashes. They are separated from each other, they are curved (I have naturally curved eye lashes, mind you), and coated. There is no flakiness even after wearing it for hours. The lashes do not look fake. Lastly, the price feels like a pinch while you are floating in a sweet dream. You know, the worse, even at this price, Kareena Kapoor decided to forget adding a water resistant feature to the mascara. Ahhhh…hhh. The Good About Lakme Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Lash Definer Creamy, quick-dry & lightweight formula No clumps or flakiness Separates the lashes and amplifies the beautifully Gives awake look to the face Nice applicator Beautiful packaging The Bad Price is high The Ugly The mascara is not water proof. The brides will be highly disappointed by this fact. Lakme Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Lash Definer, is a wonderful mascara if you talk about the formula or the natural finish that it gives to the lashes. The applicator wand is also very workable. The piece looks luxurious. The price is on higher side, which we can understand since a celebrity is associated with it. But not being water resistant can be really disappointing for some. I am not disappointed by the purchase as I don’t really use water resistant mascaras anyway since they take efforts to come off. Also the clutch actually compensated for the price that I paid for the mascara. All is good. I feel this range is over hyped as a whole just because it is associated with Kareena Kapoor and is being sold by Nykaa. It literally adds charm to my face instantly. No other makeup product is required if I am wearing this blue. It has got subtle shimmer particles that are visible if you watch closely. That explains the bright look of the shade. This shade suits my dark brown eyes. Actually blue liner is a versatile shade when comes to choosing colored eyeliner. It mostly suits all the deep eye colors. I have not tried this eyeliner on my water line and I do not suggest to apply it since it is not indicate by the brand. Packaging The eyeliner comes in a very classy packaging. It is packed like a lip gloss since the liner is in liquid form. The tube is transparent hence you can see the color of the liner even without opening the tube. Brand name- Bharti Taneja and the name of the makeup range has been printed on the tube in black font which is not that much visible. The tube comes packed in a black carton as Bharti Taneja Liquid Lipsticks come. There is a photograph of Bharti Taneja over the carton along with ingredients & other information about the product. The Brush that comes with the liner is very thin and hence can help you achieve very thin and precise lines. It’s not ultra soft neither ultra harsh on eyes. It glides smoothly without hurting skin over eye lids. The packaging is travel friendly. How Is The Color Pay Off? Texture & Pigmentation? The blue liner is very smooth to apply. The brush is thin hence picks only needed amount of liner. You can re-swipe the liner if you want thick lines. The formula is quick drying. The pigmentation is definitely superb as we can expect from a 600 worth liner. It really gives away nice color pay off in single swipe. The color increases with every stroke and you can intensify your eye look. How Long Does Bharti Taneja Eye Liner Stay On Eyes? Staying Power/ Longevity ? This entire range of Makeup Essentials by Bharti Taneja has been targeted for brides. Hence the products are made smudge proof & water proof. This liner too is smudge proof once set. I have worn is for full day and at the end of the day I took it off with a Mother Sparsh baby wet wipe, because I find it really quick way to clean my skin. It came off very easily. I believe it is a long lasting eye liner. What I Liked About This Blue Liner? Have not seen this range in offline stores yet. This is a liquid liner and not a gel liner, hence you might not get precise application if you do not have much experience with liquid liners. It requires a steady hand to get perfect lines. Bharti Taneja Makeup Essentials Blue Liner justifies it’s price tag of 600 bucks by giving nice color pay off and long stay on eyes. The liner is smudge proof, water proof and hence sweat proof too. The liner is very apt for brides and every body else who like to wear and forget their liners for whole day.
