I have never been on a blind date. The very idea of meeting someone unknown gives me goosebumps. But how about going on a blind date with this whole world? Going to a place I have never even heard about. Doing things that I never have thought about doing. I still get goosebumps about this sort of blind date but I also feel some adrenaline rushing to my veins. Here goes my #TheBlindList of the places & things while I #SayYesToTheWorld This world is full of possibilities, all we need is to have an open mind and attitude to embrace & a capability to say yes to the world. But to which world? How much do I know the world? The world is not just about just sky touching buildings or mega structures. It’s a lot more than that. I have some vivid dreams, some vague images n my mind that make that can surely go into my travel bucket list. Going On A Blind Date With The World A Starry Night Over A Lake It’s the most subtle view that I have in my mind. A starry night that hits a forest. The dense forest that ends on the banks of a standstill lake. The lake that holds midnight water. The water that shines as bright as the stars in the sky. The stars that seem to be born tonight. The night that is still young. I am awestruck. Only naked eyes can capture the true beauty of this place. I am on my knees, should I watch the stars or the reflection of the stars in the water. Why this night is so bright even though it’s not a full moon tonight. Is it the stars again? I refuse to sleep tonight because I do not want this night to end. On a second thought, I wonder how serene this place would look in the daylight. A Safari To A Mysterious Island I still have some glimpse of that movie where the Rock is stuck on a mysterious island which is home to the smaller version of animals. I specially can’t shake an image of him carrying a small elephant in his arms. I see myself there. I am holding a elephant in my arms while another one sitting on my lap. I walk a mile and I find some lions while they still look like cubs. We cuddle for some time and I walk ahead. In front of me is a landscape. I am running with few horses before they decide to make a u-turn. And here cums a pair of kangaroos that I have never ever seen in my life for real. And I have approached a white river running in the heart of this island. Oh, such a place….only if it exists. From Mountain Peak To Somewhere After witnessing the most beautiful sunrise of my life at the peak of this mountain, I decide to follow a trail that starts from the mountain, going downward, visible for few meters before fading away in the clouds swimming around. The trail itself is a narrow pathway covering itself with a blanket of flowers. The wild flowers dance as slow wind flows through them. The wind brings the wild fragrance of the flowers to me and I feel a faint smile on my lips. I close my eyes as I inhale this freshest air. The sunshine is getting stronger and I am taking long steps. I have crossed the clouds now and I can see small blocks. Going closer I can make out, It’s a village. I am embraced by the oldest woman of the village who heads the village. My breakfast is waiting for me. I can go on and on and my travel wish lists would never end. I don’t know if these places are for real. If they exist where are they, or what they are named. But I can visit them whenever I want to. My favorite genre of movies is Rom-Com but then female action movies come a close second. Female-centric action movies are no less than that of their counterparts. Actually, they add an extra oomph factor to an otherwise basic action moves. Today, I am going to share my favorite top 5 female action movies that I can watch anytime. Charlie’s Angels Charlie’s Angels is an action-comedy movie and a favorite of mine for years. This movie has not just one or two but three beautiful lead actresses, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore & Alex Munday, known as the “Angels”. These Angels have a boss namely Charlie who stays undercover and only can be heard over a speaker phone. These angels are private investigators and must protect their identities. They are assigned with heroic assignments but they have their private lives too. The movie has several action-packed and comedy infused scenes. Salt Angelina Jolie wins all the hearts with her performance as Evelyn Salt in this movie. This is a full throttle action movie with a badass actress. She is playing the role of a CIA agent who is first trapped in prison at North Korea and later acquitted with the charges of the assassination of the Russian president. How does Evelyn free herself from a deep-rooted conspiracy, forms the central conflict of the movie? If you have not watched it yet, you are missing one of her finest action movies. The Kill Bill Series In every list of female-based action movies, you will find the Kill Bill series for sure. In this movie, Uma Thurman plays a retired assassin who takes revenge from a man who tried to kill her when she was pregnant a few years ago. The man is not alone and has a team of assassins. The film shows how this woman who was in coma for 4 years, empowers herself to fulfill her goal proving that a woman is strong enough to take down her enemies on her own. The Underworld Series This is One of the highest rated and my most watched movie series. Underworld is a film series that walks you through the dark world of Vampires, Lycans and Hybrids. This movie features four movies and every movie is worth watching. The reason – Kate Beckinsale. She makes you live in that era. She thrills every nerve in your body. I, personally, am a sucker for horror fiction, and what could be more thrilling than Vampires & Lycans. Lucy Scarlett Johansson is my favorite Hollywood actress and this is not the only reason why I love Lucy. The hyper-stylish sci-fi plot by Luc Besson is another reason. The movies follow an innocent girl who falls prey to the drug mafia who try to use her to transport drugs. But in the process, she accidentally absorbs a drug that makes her gain psychokinetic abilities. As a result, her mind usage suddenly starts increasing and her capabilities keep on growing. The film is a visual treat and the story gets interesting with every passing second. Trust me, with this movie, you will want to keep re-watching the climax. So, basically, never underestimate the power of a woman, be it real life or reel life and these movies prove the same. These are only 5 movies, but there are numerous heroic performances delivered with perfection, by women proving that action movies are not only for male actors. What I Want For My Birthday?: #BirthdayWishlist

August is my birthday month. You will find me more cheerful, more lively and more optimistic during my birthday month. It’s something like automatic that happens with my brain. Even though I am not a 16 years old girl anymore, it does not kill the fun. With every passing year, I am understanding life in a better way. I can be more sure about my decisions and actions. My perspective to see life is getting richer. It’s a blessing that God has been very kind to me in terms of evolving me as a human being. I am aware of my flaws and constantly reminding myself not to repeat the mistakes that I made in the past. Honestly, today, I regret nothing. My Birthday Wish List This a better me, surely deserve a birthday treat. The shopper girl in me is never going to age and is ready with a birthday wish list. For your reference let me tell you when I have something on my mind, I must get it done ASAP. I just can’t wait. I hate to wait. Same goes for my shopping wish list. Every year before birthday, I make a list and then love crossing the items off the list as my birthday approaches. It’s great fun. Do it sometime. A Perfect Birthday Dress I have been looking for a perfect birthday dress. My dress would be probably a maxi dress which would be really flow-y and with a slit at the sides would give it a casual look. The color and the pattern would match the season and the flavor of the wind. I am quite amused by the latest trend of wrap around dresses, but that too has to be a long and flow-y one. On the other hand, lace is eternal love. I am already eyeing some lace dresses from online stores. Let’s see who wins the race. A Solitaire On My Finger I am a minimal jewelry person. But, I never really fancied a solitaire on my finger as much as I did after seeing Solitaire Jewellery CaratLane collection. The collection is really beautiful and offers such minimalist designs that I really can’t resist. I surely am going to gift myself one. Also the price range is quite affordable. Seeing this range I totally understand the passion women generally have for diamonds. They really make you weak at knees. Rocket High Pumps I am a heel-o-holic person. I just cant’ shake off my love for heels. I really am looking for a perfect pair of heels in white and gloss. The pair has to be top notch in quality, looks & comfort. So It’s bit tricky to find a nice pair comprising of all three factors as the heel size really crushes down the comfort. I am literally trying out every beautiful pair that looks promising. I have shortlisted few pairs online too, but that’s my last resource. A Pocket Full Of Lippies My lipstick love a never ending story. The more I hoard, the more I crave for more. It’s like I don’t want to miss out on beautiful shade that are ever produced by the humanity. Otherwise my life would be a waste. Right now I am eyeing few shades from Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick range. The finish is beautiful and so are the shades. I am hoping to try out some colors that are not very conventional for me like Powerful or Discreet. A Dinner Date With You My birthday won’t complete without a dinner date with you. We don’t get much time together. We are so busy in making things happen for everybody around us. But on such special occasions, we must forget the rest. After all we are here to live and not just to breath. So My birthday wish list is very small and to the point. I am very hopeful that the list will be completed by my birthday. Christmas is about togetherness. It reminds us the warmth of relationships. I have a habit to watch a movie on a Christmas afternoon. But no, a Santa-Obsessed-kid’s movie won’t do. I want a girl-i-e thing to fill my Christmas afternoon. I am a die hard fan of romantic movies. Even a romantic-comedy would do just fine. I am going to list few of romantic & romantic-comedies that I already love and you might be already fan of. You won’t see any Bollywood movie here because, I have lost my appetite for Bollywood romantic movies long time back. So have a wonderful Christmas afternoon with these lighthearted & touchy movies. Four Christmases Some people are trapped for life, like Brad & Kate. The husband wife have two sets of divorced parents. Every year the duo manages to make excuses, fly out of town to avoid attending Christmas dinner with respective parents. But this year, they are trapped at airport since all the flights have been canceled due to bad weather. They return back to their home, but now there is no escape. The duo must attend four Christmases at four different places. Kate’s mother & father are waiting for them at their own residences, so are Brad’s parents. It involves a lot of family drama & cries. Now you understand why they wanted to escape Christmas at the first place. The Holiday Do you wish to swap your life(house) with someone else’s? Well these two heart broken women do. Iris from London is heart broken by her colleague who is set to marry some one else from her office. While Amanda from LA, is cheated by her boyfriend is still sore at heart. Both want to forget their pasts. They somehow lands on house exchange website and the next moment they are flying out of their respective countries. Iris is awestruck by the lavish lifestyle of Amanda in LA. Amanda is getting used to the English weather, meets Iris’ brother and falls in love with him. Iris too finds a nice guy in LA. And it’s Christmas. Christmas With The Kranks I can relate to this movie because it’s plot is similar to what I witnessed in my own life. Plus it’s full of entertainment. I love the comedy sequence this movie offers. So basically the Kranks are not celebrating Christmas, because their beloved daughter is not visiting them this year. I can understand, what’s Christmas without family. For Parents, any festival is dry if their children are not with them. So the Kranks too put Christmas off. But guess what Karol, their daughter shows up. Now what? Christmas is On guys. But then every festival has it’s own preparations & charm. Now the Kranks gear up to make it happen. It leads to hilarious situations. This movie is total fun. Love Actually This movie is very close to my heart. I just can’t miss it any time it’s on air. Even though it’s set against Christmas time, I think it’s an all time watch. There are about 8 couples who are falling in love, falling out of love, trapped in bad relationships, confused, lonely and what not. The plot is interwoven taking these people in account. How these people find their solace in this fast running life. You really get lost in the plot. You laugh & cry with the characters. It’s Love Actually that’s all around you…. !!! Snow Bride How far can Greta go for the sake of a story. She is a tabloid reporter.. err… gossip reporter, exposing the rich & the famous. She gets to know that Late Senator’s Son might be proposing marriage on Big Bear ground during Christmas, she could not stop to get the first glimpse of the story. Being the first one to report the news may win her a great prize. But accidentally she is taken as a guest of the family which leads to more in-bound incidents. Now she gets to know how down to earth the family is. What will Greta do now? So Girls, I leave you all to your imagination now. You may just go and get your favorite movie on. Till now we have only heard about cries n tears about transgender stories. Seen them begging, clapping or doing prostitution. Being a child, we were all scared of hijras but little did we know that few years down the line we shall have exceptions. Today transgenders are news anchors, mayors, school principals, court judges, Tollywood actresses, models and beauty queens. One such beauty queen is Aizya Naaz Joshi. Her schoolmates will call her chakka, heejra, impotent and what not? She didn’t have a good childhood as she grew up in a prejudice society, she absolutely had no friends in school, but she didn’t give up, Being a child she was sexually molested by her school teachers and distant relatives. Her sexual molestation has left a deep scar on her soul. She recalls that she hardly saw a childhood. She was sent to Mumbai to a distant relative where she completed her higher secondary education through open schooling. She could not give much time to her studies because most of her time went doing part-time jobs at restaurants, dhabas, selling items in local trains and assisting in beauty salons as a helper, When she grew up as a teen, she took up bar dancing as a profession. Her flair for art and creativity made her come back to Delhi in 1996 where she did her 2 years under graduate fashion design course from pearl academy of fashion and later she appeared for NIFT entrance exam in 1999 where She bagged most creative designer award for her bridal collection in knitwear ‘’ swapnaparineeta, bride of dreams. Being a transgender and because of her personal problems she didn’t do well as a designer, she once again ran away from her house, she tried committing suicide 3 times but every time she was saved, she was forced to take up a job in a massage parlor where she sold her body for mere 200 rupees per client, she was forced to have sex from an auto rickshaw driver to washer man, anyone and every one she was forced to entertain, she spent many nights lying on the railway platforms and without food, she knew the value of even single penny then and didn’t want to lose her job, from stardom to dust and again dust to stardom her story is truly inspiring, after the barbaric judgement of supreme court recognizing heejda community as a third gender she decided to come back to the fashion industry, but when she decided to come back her so called friends started blackmailing her about her being a prostitute, over the decade things have changed for transgender community in India, she tried her hands on blogging, styling, make up but finally found success in launching her beauty pageant, in mere one and half years of her pageant life, she has done 6 pageants under her label MIHM. She says ‘’ being a woman from heart , I am good at organizing things and I am pretty good at organizing events’’. Today Aizya Naaz Joshi Pageant Director and Reigning Ms World Diversity 2018, she remembers when she wanted to make a come back in fashion industry many people blackmailed her telling agencies that she was a prostitute, so that she can’t make a come back. But destiny had other plans made for her. Miss World Diversity is focusing on equality and diversity. India is land of diverse cultures and heritage. My aim is to educate people and make them understand that black, white, brown or yellow we all are children of one God. We are born in different places but we all are brothers and sisters. Lets start loving each other unconditionally. Let there be no boundaries, no passports, no visas let’s all stay as one United World. She is India’s first transgender model to be appeared on the cover of international magazine. With the title of Ms world diversity she is very dedicated to do community service, from time to time she visits NGOs and makes whatever little contribution. ‘’ I would love to do a job in an NGO full time or have a small NGO of mine’’ says Ms. Joshi. She believes in gender equality. She says that its high time we respect all genders. She also wants to work for section 377 and makes her country free from section 377, where love shall have no restriction. In future she wants to join politics and save many transgender women going in prostitution. She wants to be in the cabinet and apply rules for her trans sisters and create job opportunities for them. She just doesn’t want to live her life as a model, she wants to live her life as a role model. How I Have Evolved In Past One Year?

I was reading a beautiful post by a fellow blogger over bloglovin describing her blogging journey. It sure was fabulous & inspiring. Now, it’s almost one year since I have started my blogging journey. But within these 11 months, I am a completely different person, from within. I have evolved as a woman, as a mother and as a human being. Today, I am going to share my evolution within last 11 months. Who Was I? An introvert… a shy girl always leaning along the wall. Never uttering a word, no matter how tempted I was while sitting in a group of friends. Thinking about thousand times before giving my opinion on a subject I was well versed of. I never really went ahead to make new friends be it school, college and later corporate life. I had always been a kind of non social person generally taken as an egoistic person. I lost many friends after getting busy with life. Some long term friendships took a back seat and now they are limited to birthday wishes. Sometimes I really consider myself to be quite an unfortunate person. I might never find that perfect friendship, I once thought I had. How Blogging Changed Me Into A Better Person? I would not say, I am not an introvert anymore. I still find myself talking to myself. This is never going to change. I am self sufficient. I sometimes fantasize about a life where it’s just me on a never-found-land. Maybe it’s bit selfish, but I do want to live for me for a moment. Books Bring Out The Best Version Of You Blogging demands to think & read more. Reading takes you to another level of intellectual. I was never into self help books. Within last few months, I realized what I have been missing on. It’s not only fiction that can excite your mind, while I was reading “The Secret”, I felt another level of joy & motivation. ‘Friends’ Is Just A Word At every stage of life, we need different kind of people in life. I am in my early 30’s and I do not have time to go for long chat over coffee with my female friends. I am really not looking for shopping buddies. But I know I have a close knit group of women bloggers who are there to help me whenever I need any kind of help. Be it about my 3 years old or a wordpress plugin, they are pro in every department. Are we friends? Not necessarily. Being Messy Is Alright Organizing your life is a good thing. Planing really helps you achieve things within time limits. But I do not always go by clock. I have my setbacks and I do not regret taking a short break from my early morning tight schedule. Messy home does not look good, but it’s better than loosing your peace of mind over small things. Your home will stay messy until your kids give up being messy! I Have Become More Sensitive To The Environment I really can’t stand someone littering around. It’s once cause for which I can give up my shy nature for some time. There are wonderful people that I have come across online who are taking big initiative to protect environment. Until we do our individual duties, these initiatives can not succeed. Being Irrelevant Is Okay Sometimes, go out of routine. Do something weird and make memories to laugh later. Life is so short. Who knows what it is holding for us even if we are alive for longer than other. Plus You Live Only Once. Parents Never Give Up On You It does not matter if you are not doing good in your career or even if you fail. Your parents never judge you. Your happiness is their utmost importance. Your parents are always going to love you unconditionally. They always support you and care for your new ideas for life. Having A Supportive Husband Makes Life Easy I can’t ignore his love & support for my new passion. He exclaims with every milestone that my blog hits. I can share everything with him. He cheers me up when I am not in my usual “let’s do it” mood. He challenges me. There is no stopping for me now. About The Shoot- Well, thanks to my lovely sister, it happened on a Sunday afternoon, when we were looking into each other’s eyes and decided to make something better out of it.
