Hi, I am Nisha Malik, a beauty blogger from Delhi. You are welcome to my blog High On Gloss. For two decades, I have been experimenting with skincare and makeup products and my passion is only getting stronger day by day. Being a shopaholic, I buy a lot of makeup and skincare products. That’s how I get an opportunity to test and try different brands and products.
I have an engineering background, but I always dreamed about having my own blog during my corporate days. I also wrote for some famous beauty and makeup blogs in the past. It only added to my experience and fueled my desire to have my own beauty blog.
I am also a mommy to a 6 years old boy, who loves to share the frame with me on my social media pages.

I have oily and acne-prone skin, and I get a lot of emails from my lovely readers regarding skin concerns. I am happy to share my experience with them, so that they could too, get benefited. It’s not only a product that I believe in rather it’s a particular lifestyle that I follow to keep my skin and hair worries at bay.
I have also been a victim of Female Pattern Hair Loss. And I am happy to have minimized the ill effects of this diseases using natural means. There are few of my lovely readers, who are also going through such hair loss and I am constantly in touch with them over email. It gives me immense pleasure when I find their thank you note in my email.

My Hobbies
I LOVE TO READ. That’s something, I just can’t let go. Even on a busy day, I would take out some time to read. My favorite genre is fiction, of course. I can’t rest until I finish a book. I can’t rest until I start another book.
Next comes playing a melody and humming with it. It’s relaxing and really makes my head feel free of worries. I do it almost every day, especially during my after-dinner walks.
The weird hobby I have developed lately is to scroll through skincare and makeup online. It’s so satisfying and relaxing like listening to music. I can go pick a product and would just read it’s active ingredients and then would research them. In a way, it’s helpful for my blog at the end of the day.
I listen to podcasts while I am on my household chores.

I started High On Gloss, back in October 2016, when I left my IT job for good. Over High On Gloss, you will find product reviews for skincare, hair care, makeup, and lifestyle. I also have an eye for fashion hence, you would also see me flaunting the best of my style.
High On Gloss, is your destination to find honest product reviews and opinions. I try my best to use a product for the longest time, before, I create my own opinion about a product.

Why did I start High On Gloss?
Be it acne, skin pigmentation, dark circles, hair breakage, hair loss, I have been through all these problems. I have struggled a lot to tackle my acne issues, then knocked down by hair fall and other hair issues, while dark circles sat there for the longest period of my life.
I know what works for me, and that could work for you. That’s the sole purpose of starting out High On Gloss. Before I write about a product, I make sure to use it for the longest period of time, I can, or until I start seeing results.
Here you will also find some products and brands that kind of proved to be over-hyped and did not work at all for me. Maybe I would be able to save your hard-earned money.
High On Gloss Is More Than A Blog To Me
I treat my blog as my second baby, as it happens to be younger than my son. And that’s how I have been raising it. My blog is a lot demanding. And It keeps me on toes.
In reality, my blog actually keeps me motivated to be the best version of me. After I started my blog, I have adopted a healthier lifestyle, I try to work out daily, I look for natural ways to improve skin and hair. I prefer using products that san parabens and other chemicals. And I want my lovely readers to follow the same.
Fun Fact: If I had not been a blogger, I would have not been on any social media. I might have been found buried under books.
