Goa is among those dream vacations which you want to do before you hit 30. I haven’t been to Goa till now despite of it being the most popular vacation destination for youth. What is there not to love? Goa does not only offer beautiful beaches but it has forts, hills and other natural beauties hidden away from limelight. One can explore another world in Goa. Goa totally tops my travel list. For this favoritism, there are some obvious reasons while some are not that obvious. I am going to discuss some really cool facts about Goa with you that you might not really know or have not cared to think about.
5 Not So Obvious Reasons To Travel Goa
The Architecture
Goan architecture is a mix of many cultures like India, Islamic & Portuguese and hence it’s architecture is also affected by these cultures. The beautiful architecture very often appears on international architecture magazines. You would be happy to know that Goan real estate is open and you can actually buy a Villa, a cottage or a house there if you want to. How great it would be to own a private and luxury villa in Goa? Goa Villa Estate is a real estate agency that works to get you your dream property in Goa. They guide/handle all the legal formalities so that you don’t have to face any hassles. How cool is that?
The Weather
The best time to visit Goa is mostly between October to March, but you would not notice extreme weather there even if you decide to travel during off season. Actually it’s a great plan to save some money and enjoy Goa without being a part of the crowd. I am quite open to travel tourist destinations during off season, because that really suits my budget as well as I can explore the places in a better way.
From Budget To Luxury Travel
Goa Offers everything. You can be a backpacker or travelling for luxurious experience, Goa won’t disappoint you. If you are a traveler on budget, you can explore the less traveled road. The luxurious life is anyway another name for Goan lifestyle. Goa is just not about beach life but it offers lot more than that. Even if you are staying at a 5 star property, you should not miss the off-beat Goa.
The Vibe
A high spirited vibe is the first thing you will notice in the Goan air. It’s so liberating and assuring. It fills you with happiness. No wonder youth is generally attracted to Goa so much. But Goa is not just for young hearts, everybody is welcome here. People go there to lose their worries, to rejuvenate & relax. Age does not matter. Goa is a wonderful place to settle even after your retirement.
The People
The goan people are very warm and welcoming. They are a mix of several races and religions. They know how to keep harmony. They are loving, free spirited and mind their own business.
Goa is an international tourist destination. Goa attracts a lot of crowd from different states and countries. Even foreigners find Goa as welcoming as their homes. Many of them have settled here and own properties like hotels, cottages, bars etc. becoming successful business owners.
Goa is not just about rave parties, casinos or water sports, it’s a lot more than that, if you dare to explore. Goa has a beautiful history and tales to be told. I want to explore the less traveled path of Goa and that’s why I am soon heading to it.

I had been to Goa and I loved each and every bit of my Goa vacation. For those who want just beer and peace, go to South Goa and those who want beer+party+bash go to North Goa.
Pooja
