August is my birthday month and I have been showering myself with various gifts, where lipsticks top the list. I have used and quite liked Nykaa Matte To Last Liquid Lipstick Bombae, so it was very easy for the mini versions of the same range to make way into my vanity, I have been playing around with Jahnvi, Gul, Mishti, Rukmini and Boho. These are my favorites from the range apart from Bombae. So I am going to pour my love on Nykaa Matte To Last Liquid Lipstick today. Stay tuned.

Nykaa Matte To Last Mini Liquid Lipstick

After the success of Nykaa Matte To Last Liquid Lipsticks, Nykaa has come up with the mini version of the same lipsticks. The lipsticks are mini but offers the same vibrant shades, pigmentation and longevity. The formula is matte,lightweight, enriched with Vitamin E and stays all day long intact. [Ingredients missing]

Shades: Only 10 shades of Nykaa Matte To Last Liquid Lipsticks has been adopted for the mini version.

Packaging

The packaging of the Nykaa Matte to Last mini liquid lipsticks varies little bit from the full sized lipsticks. The tubes come in transparent rectangular tubes. The shades are easily visible. The applicator is good and gives nice outline too. The tubes are really tiny, I wonder how much product they even hold. In case you really like a shade, you should go for a full sized version, I would suggest.

Fragrance & Texture

I love the super smooth and fine formula of these lipsticks.I think Nykaa has improved the formula. The formula is enriched with Vitamin E and it does not make my lips feel weird or dry. It actually gives quite a comfortable wear.There is no noticeable smell.

The lipsticks stay intact for 4-5 hours, if you are not eating anything major. It’s easy to touch up the shades as the formula is smooth and fine. It does not feel weird even with multiple applications.

Gul 17

Gul is a nice mauve shade. I hardly like mauve shades, but in case, I have to, I would choose Gul even over SUGAR Liquid Lipstick Mia Sangria(a mauve shade), because Nykaa liquid lipsticks are more comfortable and gives natural look.

Boho 16

How much I love this shade. It’s one of those everyday shade, I am always on lookout for. It’s subtle pink which complements my wheatish complexion.

Rukmini 22

It’s a cool toned pink. It brightens up my face, my mood and my day. I wear this whenever I need to go for bold lips without having to wear a red.

Jahnvi 23

This is a pure peach shade. It does not wash out my wheatish complexion. It looks quite subtle. It is good to go with fair, light, medium skin tones as well as dusky skin tones, as it has bit of pink to it, which prevents washing out complexion.

Mishti 10

This is quite a bright red shade. I love to wear it when I really need to highlight my lips. It gives that #bossgirl feeling. It is suitable for all Indian skin tones.

These are my current favorite 5 Nykaa Matte To Last Mini Liquid Lipsticks. My preference for lipstick shade changes every month. I grow up of shades, brands and even texture, very easily. And that’s why High On Gloss mostly contains lipstick reviews (Hope you got my answer, Vik 🙂 )
